The Let Zero service is comprised of many experts with a range of expertise, one of the key roles being that of the Retrofit Coordinator. This role is a crucial part of the retrofit process, taking an initial assessment of a property and creating a whole-house plan for improvements. Joanne Harrison, Retrofit Coordinator for Let Zero, takes us through her experience of the role, and how she works to create bespoke plans that benefit each particular property and situation.

In September Let Zero, along with South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority’s Retrofit team and National Energy Action, held a virtual engagement session with tenants from across South Yorkshire, to gather their experiences of living in privately rented accommodation, and their hopes for making energy efficient improvements to their homes.

As part of the Let Zero project, our team has recently been asked to provide retrofit advice in the Little London area of Maltby in South Yorkshire, providing an opportunity to bring together innovative new methods and technology to analyse a defined area of housing and explore methods of doing energy efficiency improvements at large scale.
